Samm Bhattacharya achieved widespread success as Jillu in his breakout role for ‘Borbaad’, starring alongside Shakib Khan, the Kolkata-based actor is about to join the cast of ‘Rakkhosh’ opposite Siam Ahmed. The gritty thriller is directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy and produced under the Real Energy banner.
Details about Samm’s character remain under wraps, adding to the anticipation. The film’s first look has already created a stir online, depicting Siam Ahmed in a blood-stained white room, standing beside a bathtub containing a frozen tiger, holding a Chinese axe and pistol, with a rose clamped in his teeth, a striking image hinting at a dark, emotionally intense story.
Kolkata-based actress Sushmita Chatterjee will play Siam’s heroine. Filming has taken place in locations including Sri Lanka and Malaysia and the movie is slated for release this Eid.
