Actor and content creator Sahiba Bali has dismissed rumours linking her romantically with Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor after the pair were spotted together at Lord’s Cricket Ground during the India-England third ODI in London, states Hindustan Times.
Photos of the two watching the match circulated widely on social media, prompting speculation about their relationship.
Sahiba addressed the rumours with humour instead of issuing a formal clarification.
Sharing a photo with Arjun Kapoor on her Instagram Stories, she wrote, “don’t believe everything pt 2,” making it clear that the dating rumours were unfounded.
The actor also responded light-heartedly after some social media users mistakenly identified her as actor Anushka Sharma in viral posts.
Rather than correcting the confusion with a lengthy explanation, she joked about the mix-up online.
This is not the first time Sahiba has faced relationship speculation. She has previously dismissed rumours linking her to comedians Samay Raina and Aaditya Kulshreshth.
Several Bollywood celebrities attended the high-profile match at Lord’s, including Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan, who watched the game with his son, Taimur Ali Khan.
Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also attended the match alongside his wife, Sakshi Dhoni.
England defeated India by 27 runs after setting a target of 388. India made a strong start through Rohit Sharma’s 138 off 110 balls and a 147-run opening partnership with captain Shubman Gill, but the visitors failed to complete the chase.
On the professional front, Arjun Kapoor is preparing for the release of No Entry 2, directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor. He has also recently signed with talent management company Matrix IEC.
