Eid-ul-Adha release Rockstar has emerged as one of the most talked-about films among this year’s festive releases. Shakib Khan-starrer is being screened in 103 cinemas across the country from Eid day.
The film has been released on a large scale across both multiplexes and single-screen theatres.
Directed by Azman Rusho, “Rockstar” tells the story of a singer’s rise to fame, his personal conflicts and the ups and downs of life.
Alongside Shakib Khan, the film features performances by Sabila Nur, Tanjia Zaman Mithila and Sunidhi Nayak.
Even before its release, the film generated strong public interest through its songs, posters and promotional campaigns. Although multiple films were released this Eid, industry observers say Rockstar has attracted the highest curiosity among audiences.
The film is being screened in theatres across Dhaka and other parts of the country. In the capital, it is running in all branches of Star Cineplex. It is also being shown at Blockbuster Cinemas, Lion Cinemas, Saba Sohana Cineplex and CineScope.
The film is also running in several traditional single-screen theatres in Dhaka, including Madhumita Cinema Hall, Shyamoli Cinema Hall, Azad Cinema Hall and Ananda Cinema Hall.
It has also been released in theatres across various divisions and districts of the country.
