Actress Tahmeena Sultana Mou will spend her birthday on 18 October on a drama set rather than celebrating the occasion with her family. She is currently busy shooting for ‘Khub Chena Golpo’, a serial directed by actor Mir Sabbir for his YouTube channel, MSM Drama.
The production marks Mir Sabbir’s first attempt at making a television serial specifically for his own YouTube channel. He developed the story idea, while Ahmed Shahabuddin wrote the screenplay. Mou plays a character named Farida in the serial.
The actress said she considers professional commitments a priority, even on special occasions. In previous years, she usually spent her birthday with family because she had no work scheduled. This year, however, she will be on set, coordinating with the rest of the cast and crew.
Mou is optimistic about ‘Khub Chena Golpo’, which is currently being produced in 52 episodes. She said the number could increase after the serial begins streaming, depending on its response.
Meanwhile, another serial featuring Mou, ‘Bakulpur Season Three’, has begun airing on Deepto TV. She plays one of the key characters, and the 24th episode has already been broadcast.
Mou recently made her film debut in ‘Sangbad’, directed by Sohel Arman. Her other recent television serials include ‘Golmal’, ‘Cheater and Gentleman’ and ‘Bakulপুর Season Two’.
As she marks another year, Mou remains focused on her acting career, balancing work across television, online platforms and cinema.
