The initiative is built on the core principle that while retirement marks the end of a full-time career, it does not mark the end of the knowledge, expertise, and experience accumulated over decades of professional life, reads a press release.
The platform enables users to identify experienced professionals based on their specific requirements to receive consultation, mentorship, and practical advice. These services cover a wide range of fields, including business strategy, management, technology, finance and accounting, human resources, and marketing.
Operating under the philosophy “Experience Never Retires,” RetirExpert seeks to create new opportunities for retired professionals to stay professionally engaged by sharing their knowledge with businesses and the next generation.
Towhid Hossain, founder of RetirExpert, said that many professionals spend 30 or 40 years building expertise in their respective fields, yet much of that valuable knowledge and experience remains underutilised following retirement. At the same time, businesses and entrepreneurs frequently face challenges that experienced professionals have already encountered and learned to navigate throughout their careers.
Hossain clarified that RetirExpert is not intended to bring retired professionals back into traditional employment. Rather, the platform aims to ensure that their experience is utilised where it can make a meaningful difference-helping businesses avoid costly mistakes, supporting entrepreneurs in making informed decisions, and mentoring younger professionals.
An initiative of FIFOTech Professional Services Inc, RetirExpert commenced its journey in the United States and plans to expand its operations to Bangladesh and other countries. Its long-term goal is to establish a global network connecting experienced professionals with businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals seeking their expertise.
