Rajshahi Warriors have been rewarded with a Tk 25 lakh bonus ahead of the Bangladesh Premier League final. The authorities announced the cash prize to appreciate the team’s fighting spirit and strong performance in the playoffs.
The bonus came after Rajshahi confirmed their place in the final with a tight win over Sylhet Titans in the second qualifier at Mirpur on 21 January. The match stayed close until the end, but Rajshahi kept their calm and sealed the result.
Rajshahi’s run to the final has been one of the biggest stories of the season. In their first BPL campaign, they have shown courage in big moments and bounced back from tough situations.
The team has performed as a unit throughout the tournament. Their bowlers have delivered under pressure, while the batters have stepped up whenever the side needed a lift.
