Filmmaker Raihan Rafi is known for using unconventional promotional strategies for his films.
He has continued that approach with his upcoming film Andhar, gradually revealing the looks of its cast to build curiosity among audiences.
So far, Rafi has unveiled the looks of Nazifa Tushi, Rehan, Gazi Rakayet and Chanchal Chowdhury.
However, he has yet to reveal the look of Siam Ahmed, one of the film’s most talked-about actors.
Siam appeared to jokingly express his frustration after Rafi unveiled Chanchal’s look on Wednesday.
Sharing the looks of the previously revealed cast members, Siam tagged the director and wrote, “Wow, Raihan Rafi! You have leaked everyone’s pictures so nicely. I’m also in Andhar, right? Where is my character? What did I do wrong?”
Rafi replied in the comments, “You are my dear, that’s why I’m keeping you hidden.” The comment, however, could no longer be found later.
Rafi’s response has sparked fresh speculation about Siam’s role in the film.
Many viewers now believe that the actor may be being kept as a major surprise, which could explain why his look has not yet been revealed.
Based on a supernatural story by Aftabuzzaman band musician Saidus Salehin Suman and Cryptic Fate’s Shakib Chowdhury, Andhar is directed by Raihan Rafi.
The film also stars Nazifa Tushi, Rehan, Gazi Rakayet, Chanchal Chowdhury, Afsana Mimi and Swarnali Chaiti, among others.
