The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested four-armed men with a foreign pistol, ammunition, and domestic weapons in the capital’s Kadamtali area.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Swapan, Monir, Jahidul Islam Siam, and Arif Hossain.
On Thursday night, an operational team of RAB-10 conducted a raid in Purba Jurain area under Kadamtali Police Station, acting on secret information regarding the buying and selling of drugs.
During the drive, RAB arrested the four-armed men from a residential building in the Nabinbagh area.
At the time of arrest, the elite force recovered a foreign pistol, three rounds of bullets, a magazine, two switchblade knives, a toy-like pistol, and five mobile phones from their custody.
According to RAB sources, among the arrestees, Swapan has four cases filed against him at Kadamtali Police Station, including charges of murder and drug offences.
Legal action against the four detainees is currently in progress.
