State Minister for Public Administration Md Abdul Bari conducted a surprise inspection at Singair Upazila Parishad complex in Manikganj to monitor the punctuality of government officials and employees.
The state minister arrived at the complex at 9am on Wednesday without any formal protocol, in accordance with government directives to ensure that public servants are present at their offices on time.
During the visit, it was observed that almost all officials and staff members, including the upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) of Singair, were present at their respective departments on schedule.
Following the inspection, the state minister held a brief exchange of views with the officials at the UNO’s office.
The discussion covered local issues, potential opportunities, and the implementation of programmes promised by the prime minister.
The attending officials informed the state minister that they are performing their duties with a “cordial team spirit”.
