The record date is May 20.

The bank said the stock dividend has been recommended to strengthen its capital base, support projected business growth and improve regulatory ratios.

It said the stock dividend will be issued from profit and not from capital reserve, revaluation reserve, unrealised gains or pre-incorporation profit, and will not reduce retained earnings to a negative balance.

Pubali Bank shares fell 3.04 per cent to Tk38.30 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday.
