A group of protesters have attacked the office of Prothom Alo in the capital’s Karwan Bazar area following the news of Inqilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi’s death.
Eyewitnesses reported that the attack was carried out around midnight on Thursday.
At the time, a fire was set in front of the Prothom Alo office building. The agitated crowd chanted various slogans against Prothom Alo and India.
