Twenty students of Mostafapur Multilateral High School in Madaripur Sadar Upazila will be unable to sit for the SSC examination despite paying form fill-up fees, as they allegedly did not receive their admit cards.

Following the incident, students and guardians staged a protest on Monday morning by burning tyres on the school grounds and demanded maximum punishment for those responsible.

The affected students said they are SSC candidates for 2026. They claimed that although some of them failed in one subject in the selection exam, assistant teacher Sohail Mroal and office assistant Nur Alam still allowed them to complete the form fill-up process. They also alleged that additional money was collected beyond the fixed fee.
