Prime Bank will fully subsidise the operational costs and vocational education of underprivileged children at two UCEP Bangladesh technical schools in Khulna and Rajshahi under a one-year Corporate Social Responsibility partnership.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed recently at Prime Bank’s Head Office in Dhaka by Prime Bank Additional Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer Md Ziaur Rahman and UCEP Bangladesh Executive Director (in charge) and Director, Program and Innovations, Mohd Abdul Mannan.

The partnership aims to support national skills development, promote gender equality and drive youth empowerment. Md Ziaur Rahman said investing in technical education is an investment in the nation’s economic future.

The collaboration aims to create pathways to employment and financial independence for young learners in Khulna and Rajshahi, said a press release on Wednesday.
