Prime Bank PLC held its 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on Thursday, approving a 25 per cent cash dividend and a 5 per cent stock dividend for the year ended 31 December 2025, said the bank in a press statement.
The meeting also approved the audited financial statements for 2025.
The AGM was chaired by Board Chairman Tanjil Chowdhury and attended by 358 registered shareholders, board members, and senior officials. Acting Chief Executive Officer Faisal Rahman addressed shareholder queries while Company Secretary Nayamul Hoque FCS moderated the live-streamed session. Representatives from the stock exchanges and the bank’s auditors also participated.
Prime Bank Chairman Tanjil Chowdhury presented an overview of the bank’s financial performance and strategic direction. The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) permits listed companies to hold virtual AGMs only if they have maintained “A” category status for five consecutive years.
The virtual AGM format ensured broader participation while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, reflecting the bank’s commitment to transparency and shareholder engagement.
