Premier Bank PLC held a workshop on integrity and ethics in banking at its Learning & Talent Development Center (LTDC) located at the Head Office on Saturday, 11 October 2025.
The workshop focused on promoting transparency, ethical behavior, and good governance in banking operations at all levels.
Senior officials from the bank’s Head Office and branches actively participated in the session, which highlighted practical methods for maintaining ethical values and integrity in daily banking activities.
The event was inaugurated by Premier Bank Managing Director & CEO Mohammad Abu Jafar.
Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr Arifur Rahman addressed the gathering, underscoring the critical role of ethics and integrity in sustaining long-term banking success.
The technical sessions were conducted by M Nurul Alam, FCS, Independent Director of Premier Bank PLC, Md Hafizur Rahman Khan, Joint Director of the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), and Director Compliance Mohammad Adil Hossain, CCEP, Banglalink.
The experts shared their perspectives on fostering an ethical culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting responsible business practices within the banking sector.
