Pran Dudh has launched a nationwide campaign to recognise dairy farmers who have made significant contributions to Bangladesh’s dairy industry, the company said.
The leading liquid milk brand on Tuesday unveiled the Pran Dudh–Khanti Khamari Sammanona 2026 campaign at the MCCI Conference Centre in Gulshan, Dhaka, aiming to honour dedicated farmers while promoting sustainable growth in the sector.
The campaign seeks to acknowledge farmers who have played a key role in developing the dairy industry and to highlight their success stories to encourage broader participation in sustainable dairy farming. At the launch event, the commemorative crest of Pran Dudh Khanti Khamari Sammanona 2026 was unveiled by Pran Group Managing Director Ilias Mridha.
Organisers said registration will begin on February 1 through 124 rural milk collection centres of Pran Dairy across the country. The centres are located in districts including Pabna, Rangpur, Sirajganj, Bogura, Satkhira, Khulna, Jashore, Magura, Kurigram and Natore. Through spot registration, around 16,000 enlisted Pran Dairy farmers will submit required information using registration forms.
In the second phase, the submitted data will be verified and a special jury board comprising representatives from the relevant sector will be formed. The jury will shortlist 10 farmers as “Khanti Khamari”. In the final phase, the top three farmers will be selected based on jury scores combined with consumer voting. They will receive commemorative awards and prizes worth Tk100,000 each, while the remaining seven will receive special recognition.
Speaking at the programme, Ilias Mridha said the core objective of the campaign is to honour and motivate farmers who have made outstanding contributions to the dairy industry. He said the initiative also aims to inspire others to take up cattle rearing by sharing farmers’ success stories and to reinforce Pran Dudh’s commitment to delivering safe and quality milk to consumers.
Pran Dairy Chief Operating Officer Maksudur Rahman said the company has been supporting dairy farmers across Bangladesh for more than two decades. He said fair pricing, training, veterinary services and other forms of support have contributed to positive changes in the livelihoods of many farmers.
Senior officials present at the event included Pran Senior General Manager Marketing Ali Hasan, Pran Dairy Head of Marketing Syed Mustayeen Qader and Brand Manager Fazle Elahi Nayeem, alongside other senior executives of the company.
