Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is scheduled to lead a series of political and ministerial engagements across the capital on Saturday.

Tarique will attend an exchange meeting with leaders from the BNP, Jubo Dal, Swechchasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal in the morning at the Khamarbari Krishibid Institute. The prime minister’s Press Wing will provide support for the event.

In the education sector, Education Minister and BNP International Affairs Secretary ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milan will serve as the chief guest at two separate events. He is scheduled to attend the “China-Bangladesh Education Cooperation Forum 2026” at the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka at 10am.

Later in the evening, at 7pm, he will join the “IIUM Alumni Bangladesh Chapter” programme at the RAOWA Complex (Level 12) in Mohakhali.

The Information Technology sector will also see activity, with the Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam attending the closing ceremony of the “International Cable TV Broadcasting and Communication Expo 2026”. The event is set for 4:00 pm at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).

In the afternoon, Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir will be the chief guest at a seminar hosted at the Hotel Westin in Gulshan 2, starting at 3:00 pm.

The day’s schedule also includes an exchange meeting at 9:30am at the STS Twin Tower on Malibagh-Bailey Road. Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation and BNP Chairman’s Advisory Council Member Abdus Salam will attend the meeting as the chief guest.
