Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Sunday joined the opening ceremony of the Deputy Commissioners’ Conference‑2026 at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital.
He walked from his Secretariat office to the venue around 10:20am, greeted by people lining the road, to whom he waved in response, said his Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon.
Deputy commissioners from across the country are attending the four‑day conference, which will review administrative activities, development plans, and measures to improve public services.
