In a powerful tribute to the resilience of human spirit, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj has declared that physical limitations will no longer be a barrier to a child’s dreams in Bangladesh.
He emphasised that the government is working tirelessly to create an inclusive environment where merit and potential of every child can flourish through collective support of family, society, and the state.
The state minister made these remarks at a special screening and discussion of documentary “Payer Chhap” (Footprints) at Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) auditorium in Tejgaon.
Presented by Impress Telefilm, the documentary chronicles the life of Ayesha, an indomitable and talented young woman born without arms who has overcome physical barriers through sheer willpower.
Addressing the students, the state minister noted that perseverance, regular study, and self-confidence are the keys to success.
He encouraged them by stating that with focus and dedication, they could achieve any goal, from becoming scientists and teachers to holding the highest responsibilities of the state.
Highlighting Ayesha’s journey, Bobby Hajjaj remarked that her struggle proves adversity can be conquered with strong morale.
“We do not want Ayesha’s success to be an isolated incident,” he said, stressing that the state must ensure every child can overcome their limitations.
The state minister added that the government is dedicated to building an inclusive education system that ensures equal opportunities for all.
During the event, he expressed his gratitude to the prime minister after learning about Ayesha’s appointment as a class supervisor at Gaibandha BIAM Laboratory School and College.
He described this appointment as a “brilliant example” of the government’s commitment to merit, competence, and human values.
