Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s full support for Saudi Arabia during a meeting with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said.

According to the statement, Shehbaz held detailed discussions with the Saudi crown prince on the evolving regional situation. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar accompanied him at the meeting.

The talks, which lasted nearly two hours, focused on recent regional escalation. During the meeting, the prime minister expressed complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia and extended deep condolences over the loss of lives.

He also appreciated the “exemplary patience and restraint shown by the Kingdom,” the statement added.

In response, the crown prince commended the constructive role played by PM Shehbaz and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Asim Munir in the US-Iran peace process, according to the PMO.
