Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday held a telephone conversation with Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to exchange Eid-ul-Fitr greetings.
According to the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka, the discussion was warm and cordial. Prime Minister Sharif conveyed Eid greetings to Prime Minister Rahman and the people of Bangladesh, recalling the historic and fraternal ties between the two nations. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation across all sectors.
The two leaders also shared views on regional developments in South Asia and the Middle East, emphasizing dialogue and diplomacy as the path to resolving differences and disputes.
Prime Minister Rahman warmly reciprocated the greetings, extending his best wishes to the people of Pakistan. Both leaders expressed their intent to work closely together in the days ahead to promote peace and stability at both regional and global levels.
