National University (NU) has waived examination-related fees for students at its affiliated colleges and other educational institutions who were injured during the July-August 2024 student-led mass uprising, the university said in a press release on Wednesday.

Under the decision, eligible students will only be required to pay certificate and academic transcript fees. The university has advised injured students to contact their respective colleges or educational institutions to obtain the examination fee waiver.

According to the press release, the university identified 269 eligible students enrolled at its affiliated colleges and educational institutions using the list of injured individuals published on the Ministry of Health’s website.

National University has instructed all affiliated colleges and other educational institutions to waive all examination-related fees for those students, except the fees for certificates and academic transcripts.
