Narayanganj Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Islam Mian has gifted a modern laptop to visually impaired student Salma Jerin of Prime University, enabling her to continue her education amid severe family hardship.

Salma, a fourth-year student in the Department of English, lost her father, while her mother is suffering from kidney disease.

All her siblings are also visually impaired. Despite repeatedly seeking help to purchase a laptop required for her online classes and examinations, she received only assurances.
