National Finance PLC has elected independent director Kazi Ahsan Khalil as chairman and director Rizwan Mannan as vice chairman of its board, effective from 19 July 2026.
The appointments were approved unanimously at the company’s 231st board meeting, held on 19 July, National Finance said in a press release on Sunday.
Khalil has more than 37 years of banking experience, including 19 years in senior management. He most recently served as managing director and chief executive officer of Meghna Bank PLC.
He holds an LLM from the University of Dhaka and has expertise in corporate governance, enterprise risk management and strategic leadership.
Mannan is managing director of OMC Steel Limited and a director of several companies within the OMC Group. He has experience in business development and strategic planning and studied law at the University of Hull in the UK.
National Finance said it expected the new chairman and vice chairman to strengthen governance and advance its long-term strategy of creating sustainable value for stakeholders.
