The Bangladesh Youth Economists Association has elected Mohammad Jamal Abu Naser as president and Shafiqul Islam Tuhin as general secretary of its executive committee.
The election took place on Friday in the capital. The newly formed committee will serve a term from 2026 to 2027, according to a press relaese.
Other members of the committee include Vice Presidents Md Mojibur Rahman, Abu Mansur Mohammad Saiduzzaman, and Md Nazim-ud-Doula.
The treasurer is Advocate Md Nazrul Islam, Joint Secretary Masud Kazi, Organizing Secretary Md Altaf Hossain, Assistant Secretaries Md Ashikur Rahman and Md Maruful Islam, Public Relations Secretary Sheikh Zahidul Islam, and Office Secretary Md Mojahid Kabir Rumon.
The executive members are Md Abul Khayer, Md Mahmudul Hasan, Md Ayub Ali, Md Ismail, Kazi Asiful Islam, Md Jalal Uddin, Nur Nahar Soma, Farida Akter, and Farzana Islam.
