Gas supply will remain suspended for five hours in different areas of Narayanganj and Munshiganj on Wednesday.
According to a notice issued by Titas Gas, the disruption will take place from 1pm to 6pm. The suspension is required for emergency maintenance of the gas network, which includes the repair and replacement of damaged pipelines in front of Pradhan CNG.
The work is being carried out under the project for road expansion from Panchabati to the Muktarpur bridge.
The affected areas include Narayanganj city, Munshiganj town, Panchabati, Muktarpur, Siddhirganj, Mouchak, Delpara, Pagla, Fatullah, and adjacent localities.
All categories of customers in these areas will face the gas outage, with the exception of the Adamjee EPZ area, where supply will remain unaffected.
Titas Gas authorities have expressed their sincere regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to consumers.
