Modhumoti Bank PLC has signed an agreement with Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) to receive credit guarantee services under the Credit Enhancement Scheme (CES), the bank said in a press release.
The agreement was signed on Monday, 20 July 2026, at PKSF Bhaban-1 in Agargaon, Dhaka, with PKSF Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader chairing the ceremony.
Modhumoti Bank Managing Director and CEO Md Shafiul Azam and PKSF Deputy Managing Director Md Hasan Khaled signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under the agreement, Modhumoti Bank will be able to provide credit facilities to CES-enlisted Partner Organisations (POs) of PKSF. PKSF will provide credit guarantees for loans extended by the bank to enlisted Microfinance Institutions (MFIs).
Those attending the signing ceremony included Modhumoti Bank Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer Arab Fazlur Rahman, Head of CMSME Business Support Zahid Al Muntasir and Head of CMSME Business Abu Mohammad Zahed.
