The Ministry of Religious Affairs has requested Hajj pilgrims to avoid direct sunlight to ensure their safety. The request has been made in accordance with the directives of Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The ministry has advised pilgrims to adopt several preventive measures for their protection. Pilgrims are encouraged to rest in the shade and use transport for movement.
When walking, they are advised to use umbrellas or head covers and to opt for shaded paths.
Additionally, the ministry has urged pilgrims to drink water regularly.
To facilitate comfortable worship, pilgrims have been requested to refrain from staying in the sun for long periods without protection and to avoid walking directly in the sun during periods of extreme heat.
This year, the Ministry of Religious Affairs is conducting extensive awareness activities in collaboration with the Saudi government.
