Midland Bank PLC has donated an ambulance to Anjuman Mofidul Islam, a charitable organisation and one of Dhaka’s leading ambulance service providers, offering support for both patients and deceased persons within and outside the capital.
The contribution comes under the Bank’s CSR programme, with the ambulance funded through its Islami Banking Compensation Fund.
Md Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director and CEO of Midland Bank, handed over the key to Mohammad Azim Bakhsh and Alhaj Mohammad Aslam, Trustees and Vice Presidents of Anjuman Mofidul Islam.
The handover ceremony took place on 4 December 2025 at the Bank’s Head Office.
Anjuman Mofidul Islam provides free ambulance services across Dhaka and undertakes various humanitarian activities aimed at community welfare.
Also present at the ceremony were Syed Lukman Ahmed, Joint Director (Branch) of Anjuman Mofidul Islam; Md Rashed Akter, Head of Retail Distribution & Chief Bancassurance Officer; Didarul Islam, CFO; Md Bajlur Rahman Khan, Head of CRM and Head of Sustainable Finance Unit; and Nakul Chandra Debnath, Head of GSD of Midland Bank.
