After winning the Miss Universe Bangladesh competition, Tangia Zaman Methila represented the country at Miss Universe 2025 held in Thailand. She secured a place in the top 30, with her name announced as the 12th position overall. A few months ago, she was widely discussed across the country due to this achievement. Now, Methila has revealed that she is set to become a film heroine very soon.
The discussions have been finalized, and an official announcement from the production house is expected within the next two to three months. Methila shared details about the upcoming film on the popular podcast Behind the Fame with RRK, Season 2, Episode 10. The episode will air on Saturday (7 February) at 9 pm on Maasranga Television and Radio DinRaat 93.6 FM.
In the podcast, hosted by Rumman Rashid Khan, Tangia Zaman Methila said that she dreams of working regularly as an actress. She has previously acted in a film titled Rohingya, which was produced for an OTT platform.
Methila said, “As an actress, I have many limitations. I still can’t dance like a typical heroine. But I want to learn everything that is necessary to become an actress. Many people say models can’t act. But even among actresses who are well established today, many couldn’t act well in the beginning. It took them a long journey to become successful. If models stay committed, they too can become good actors.”
In the podcast, Methila also spoke about many unknown aspects of her past and present relationships. Behind the Fame with RRK is produced by ZI Faisal.
