The fire that broke out at a coil manufacturing factory in Gazipur’s Bagher Bazar has been brought under control.
After nearly two hours of efforts, nine fire service units managed to extinguish the flames at 2:55pm on Wednesday.
The blaze erupted around 1pm at the Phoenix Coil Factory.
According to the fire service, seven units initially rushed to the scene, with two more joining later.
Gazipur Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director Md Mamun said the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage could not be confirmed immediately.
However, the factory shed, coils, and coil trolleys were damaged in the incident.
