A man was killed after being hit by a bus in Dhaka’s Banani Chairman Bari area on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Sohail Rana, a private-sector employee.
According to police, the bus hit Sohail before its driver and assistant fled the scene.
Police later seized the vehicle and launched an investigation to arrest those responsible.
Meanwhile, police completed the necessary procedures to send Sohail’s body for medical examination as his relatives arrived at the scene.
