Newly elected Member of Parliament from Lakshmipur-3 (Sadar) constituency and joint secretary general of the BNP, Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee, has stated that while minor incidents are currently occurring across  country.

He said the law and order situation will improve once the oath-taking process is completed quickly.

Speaking in front of the Chairperson’s office in Gulshan on Sunday, Anee addressed the party’s stance on internal governance.

He noted that the BNP will clarify its position regarding the provision that the head of government and the party chief cannot be the same individual before the oath-taking ceremony takes place.

Anee also shared that he is currently supervising and coordinating preparations to ensure a smooth oath-taking ceremony alongside Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, the MP-elect for Tangail-5 and BNP Publicity Secretary.

To facilitate these preparations, a coordination meeting was held at the Chief Adviser’s office on Sunday.
