Singer Kona has unveiled her latest track ‘Nirobe’, the first release from the project ‘Hridoy Hasin Featuring Various Artists’, initiated by young music director Hridoy Hasin.
The lyrics were written by Syeda Hema, with Hasin co-handling composition and arrangement.
Sharing her thoughts, Kona said, “I really liked the song. It feels a lot like band music from the 90s, which makes it even more special to me. The lyrics are beautiful and I’ve always admired Hasin’s work. I’m hopeful the audience will love it.”
For Hasin, the collaboration was personal as well as professional. “Kona Apu is one of my most favorite artists and people. I made this retro-inspired track with her in mind and I hope listeners will accept our effort,” he said.
Hasin described the project as a long-cherished dream. “I had been planning this for many years. With the first season now here, alongside Kona Apu, singers Liza and Nadi have also recorded songs. I tried to give each track a different flavor and that will remain the hallmark of this project going forward.”
Nirobe is available now on Hridoy Hasin’s YouTube channel, where other songs from the season will gradually be released.
