Transcom Foods Limited, the sole franchisee of KFC in Bangladesh, has launched a new menu item called “KFC Curry Crunch” in the local market, said in a press release. The product, introduced across Bangladesh on June 18, 2026, expands the brand’s offerings with a spicy fusion variant aimed at consumers seeking bold flavours and familiar local taste profiles.
The launch marks the latest addition to KFC’s Bangladesh menu under Transcom Foods Limited, which has operated the global fried chicken brand in the country since 2006. The new product is now available across all KFC outlets nationwide, as well as through dine-in, takeaway, home delivery services and digital ordering platforms including the KFC app and kfcbd.com/menu/curry-crunch.
The Curry Crunch features KFC’s signature Hot & Crispy Chicken combined with a blend of aromatic curry leaves and Chettinad-style spices. The company said the combination is designed to enhance flavour intensity while retaining the brand’s signature fried chicken texture.
Amit Dev Thapa, Chief Executive Officer of Transcom Foods Limited, said the product has been developed for consumers who prefer a modern fusion of international fast food with local culinary influences. He said the seasoning mix delivers a distinctive taste experience with every bite and reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to innovate its menu offerings in Bangladesh.
The company said the launch aligns with its strategy of introducing locally relevant flavours under its global brand portfolio while maintaining consistency with KFC’s international standards. It added that the new product aims to appeal to both existing customers and younger consumers seeking variety in quick-service restaurant options.
KFC Curry Crunch is available immediately across all outlets in Bangladesh through multiple ordering channels, including physical stores and online platforms.
