Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division Secretary Kazi Anwar Hossain has formally taken charge, aiming to make the division more dynamic, modern and citizen-focused.
The development was announced in a press release issued by the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
He assumed office on Sunday following his appointment through a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on March 25.
After taking charge, he expressed commitment to enhancing the ICT division’s activities and strengthening public-oriented services.
A seasoned civil servant with extensive administrative experience, he sought cooperation from all ICT stakeholders in carrying out his new responsibilities.
