Actor Karan Tacker has spoken about unequal treatment in the entertainment industry while sharing an update on the second season of his hit series Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery. According to the Hindustan Times, Tacker believes many people in the industry hesitate to challenge the status quo.

The actor revealed that work on the show’s second season is progressing steadily. “I have received some material from the second season to read. The final touches are still being worked upon. We should begin filming before the end of the year,” he said.

The renewal marks an important milestone for Tacker, whose supernatural thriller became an unexpected success after its release.

Reflecting on the project’s journey, the actor said only he and the head of the streaming platform strongly believed in the series from the beginning. “Other than the guy heading the platform and me, there was nobody really gunning for the project. It was a complicated one to put on the floor,” he said.

Tacker described the second season as a significant endorsement of the show’s success. “When things go into season two, it’s a big testament to the success of the project,” he added.

The actor noted that such recognition carries even greater significance at a time when the Hindi entertainment industry is facing a challenging period.
