The National Consensus Commission (NCC) held a meeting on Wednesday to review the opinions received from experts on the implementation strategies for the July National Charter.
The meeting took place in the NCC meeting room at the National Parliament Building in Dhaka.
During the meeting, the NCC reviewed the experts’ advice and recommendations on the potential methods for implementing the charter.
Additionally, the opinions provided by political parties on the matter were analysed again.
The preparations for Thursday’s meeting between the NCC and political parties to discuss the ways forward for the implementation of the charter was also discussed.
The meeting was attended by NCC Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz, Members Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar, Justice Mohammad Emdadul Haque, and Dr Mohammad Ayub Mia.
Monir Haider, special assistant to the chief adviser in the consensus formation process, also participated in the discussion.
