Jennifer Lawrence, Ella Langley, Tyler Childers, Stevie Nicks and the Cure are among the artists featured on the companion album for ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’, which will arrive on 13 November.
According to Variety, the 29-track collection titled ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album)’, is executive-produced by Dave Cobb and will be released through MCA, a Nashville-based record label. It precedes the film’s theatrical release on 20 November.
The album also features new material from cast members Mckenna Grace and Whitney Peak. Lawrence contributes “Deep in the Meadow”, while Peak opens the collection with “The Raven”. Grace’s track is titled “Half Alive”.
Ella Langley, whose song “Choosin’ Texas” has become one of 2026’s biggest hits, contributes “Here Then We’re Gone”. Other artists providing new songs include Noah Cyrus, Lizzy McAlpine, Madison Cunningham, Violet Grohl, Carter Faith and Kashus Culpepper.
Several tracks are remixes or previously unreleased live recordings. These include Kacey Musgraves’ “Ruthless (Arena Mix)”, Stevie Nicks’ “Doing the Best That I Can (Arena Mix)”, the Cure’s “Alone (Live in Berlin 2022)” and Depeche Mode and KÁRYYN’s reworking of “Survive”.
Three songs were released ahead of the album: Noah Kahan’s “Draw You Out”, the Smashing Pumpkins’ “Black Stars” and Gigi Perez’s “Favor”.
Unlike a conventional film soundtrack, the collection is an “inspired by” album, meaning many of its songs may not appear in the film itself. A separate album featuring James Newton Howard’s score is scheduled for release alongside the film on 20 November.
The full 29-track lineup brings together established rock, country and Americana performers alongside emerging artists, continuing the ‘Hunger Games’ franchise’s tradition of companion music collections.
