Tollywood superstar Jeet is set to appear in a mysterious role in Keu Bole Biplobi, Keu Bole Dakat, which is scheduled to release in cinemas on 14 August, ahead of India’s Independence Day. Directed by Pathikrit Basu, the film is inspired by the life of revolutionary Ananta Singh.
According to Anandabazar, the film’s motion poster has already been unveiled. It presents Jeet as a man viewed very differently by history. While many revered him as a fearless freedom fighter, others remembered him as a dacoit.
Speaking about the motion poster, director Pathikrit Basu said bringing the story of the legendary Ananta Singh to the big screen just before Independence Day was a matter of great pride for him. He added that meaningful cinema takes time to create and that patience is essential to produce something truly unique.
The director said Keu Bole Biplobi, Keu Bole Dakat is more than just a film. He described it as a dream project shaped by love, dedication and deep respect for history.
Basu added that the film explores the life of a complex, courageous and determined man hidden behind his dual identity. The project has already generated interest among cinema lovers, while Jeet’s fans are eager to see the actor in a completely new avatar.
The film’s music has been composed by Shantanu Moitra. The soundtrack is expected to further enhance its emotional depth, historical backdrop and dramatic narrative.
Alongside Jeet, the film also stars Tota Roy Chowdhury, Chandan Sen, Loknath Dey, Kaushik Sen, Rajatava Dutta, Priyanka Sarkar and Srijla Guha.
