Janata Bank PLC held an asset-liability management committee (ALCO) meeting at its head office on 25 February, with Managing Director Md Mujibur Rahman in chair.
Deputy Managing Directors Kazi Abdur Rahman and Md Faiz Alam, along with general managers and concerned deputy general managers, were present at the meeting.
During the session, Managing Director Md Mujibur Rahman set strategies considering prevailing conditions and instructed officials to increase low-cost deposits and foreign remittances.
He also directed emphasis on recovery and reduction of classified loans and on the collection of written-off loans, among other necessary measures.
