The ‘Sensation Chorki Carnival Powered by InterContinental Dhaka’ will stream on Chorki tonight, Friday, at 8pm.
Held on 3 July, the day-long event brought together popular artists and filmmakers from the entertainment industry.
Alongside the awards, it featured an acting masterclass, panel discussions, red carpet moments, fashion, interviews and reactions from winners.
Chorki organised the event for the second time to recognise the creators behind its original content, films and series.
Awards for 2023 and 2024 productions were presented in 23 categories each under Subscriber Choice and Critics’ Choice.
The event was hosted by Rakin Absar and Rafsan Sabab, with performances by Flow by Ira and Beatmosphere.
Filmmaker-actor Salahuddin Lavlu, Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, Giasuddin Selim and actors including Shahiduzzaman Selim, Rumana Rashid Ishita and Zahid Hasan presented the awards.
Among the winners were Raihan Rafi, Afran Nisho, Azmeri Haque Badhan, Mehazabien Chowdhury, Mosharraf Karim, Jaya Ahsan and Shakib Khan.
The songs ‘Ga Chhuye Bolo’ and ‘Lage Uradhura’ also received top honours.
A special honour was given to late actress and writer Karina Kaisar. Her friends Rezaur Rahman and Kamrun Nahar received the award on her behalf.
