IUBAT delegation joins Kunming Forum on Education Cooperation

A delegation from the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) participated in the 2025 Kunming Forum on Education Cooperation among South and South Asian University Presidents, held in Kunming, China, on 23 October 2025.

The delegation included Vice Chancellor Prof Abdur Rab, Dean of IUBAT Business School Dr Mozaffer Alam Choudhury, and BBA Program Coordinator Dr Hasunzzaman Tushar. The event was hosted by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education and organised by Yunnan University.

The South and South Asian Universities Network (S&SAUN), an association of 110 universities from China and Southeast Asia, of which IUBAT is a founding member, facilitated the forum. The theme of the 4th Forum was “Smart Learning and Inclusive Sharing in Higher Education.”

Ten foreign diplomats and eighty-six participants from twelve South and Southeast Asian countries attended the event, read a press release.

Prof Abdur Rab took part in a four-member roundtable discussion on “Digital Practices for Inclusive Education,” where he focused on the challenges of human resource development and proposed strategic solutions. His discussion was well received by the audience.

During the visit, the IUBAT delegation also met members of the Yunnan School of Business administration to discuss a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IUBAT Business School (IBS) and the Yunnan School of Business.

It was agreed that IBS would send a draft MoU for consideration by the Yunnan School of Business.
