He called upon Islamic scholars and religious leaders to come forward to build a Cashless Bangladesh and expand modern, secure and easy digital transaction systems in religious institutions.
Special guest Zahir said Bangladesh is gradually upgrading through digital transformation.
“Expanding digital transactions are extremely important to make the country’s financial system more modern, easy, and inclusive. Bringing religious institutions under the coverage of Bangla QR will create opportunities to engage a large population in digital transactions,” he said.
In his presidential speech, Altaf said that despite many challenges, Islami Bank continues to move forward with the trust and support of its customers.
“The bank is working to ensure simple, secure, and modern banking services for its clients,” he said.
