Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has suggested that several major US technology companies operating in the region could become potential targets, according to a report by the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency.

Tasnim published a list of offices and infrastructure run by leading American companies that reportedly have links with Israel and whose technology has been used for military purposes. The agency described these facilities as “Iran’s new targets”, reports Al Jazeera.

The report warned that the range of potential targets could broaden if the regional conflict expands to infrastructure.

“As the scope of the regional war expands to infrastructure war, the scope of Iran’s legitimate targets expands,” it said.

The companies mentioned in the report include Google, Microsoft, Palantir Technologies, IBM, Nvidia and Oracle.

According to Tasnim, the listed offices and infrastructure linked to cloud-based services are located across several Israeli cities as well as in a number of Gulf countries.
