IPDC Finance PLC has won the ‘Fintech Innovation of the Year – NBFI’ award at the fourth Bangladesh Fintech Award 2026 for its Ucchash Card Management System, recognising its use of digital technology to strengthen customer engagement and extend benefits beyond conventional financial services.
The award comes after the company launched its Ucchash Card in May 2026, with the initiative serving more than 400 customers between May and August, IPDC said in a press release issued in Dhaka on Monday.
The Ucchash Card Management System is an in-house-developed digital platform connecting customers, partner merchants and lifestyle privileges through a single system.
It allows eligible customers to access exclusive discounts, special offers and other benefits across dining, hotels and resorts, healthcare, lifestyle, education, travel, electronics and digital entertainment.
The platform uses QR-based eligibility verification, digital redemption and centralised merchant and offer management to simplify access to customer privileges.
The technology also enables IPDC to monitor redemption trends and analyse customer preferences, helping the company refine its offerings and improve customer engagement.
Designed to accommodate growing demand, the system supports the expansion of IPDC’s merchant network and the introduction of additional privileges.
Commenting on the award, IPDC Finance Managing Director Rizwan Dawood Shams said the company was seeking to extend the value of financial services beyond conventional transactions.
“At IPDC, we believe financial services should deliver value beyond transactions. The Ucchash Card Management System reflects our commitment to using technology to make every day experiences more convenient and rewarding for our customers,” he said.
“This recognition encourages us to continue developing innovative, customer-focused solutions that respond to changing needs and strengthen our relationships with customers.”
The award adds to IPDC’s digital transformation efforts as the company continues exploring technology-driven services to improve customer experiences, broaden access to lifestyle benefits and build longer-term customer relationships.
