Inqilab Moncho is set to begin the “March for Insaf” (March for Justice) programme from 3 to 6 January, demanding justice for the murder of its spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi.
The announcement was made on Friday at Shahbagh by Abdullah Al Jaber, member secretary of Inqilab Moncho. The leaders and activists of Inqilab Moncho staged a protest march and a sit-in at the intersection on that day.
Addressing the gathering, Jaber said that they will reach out to the interim government, political parties, and people in remote areas across the country to seek cooperation in ensuring justice.
He also demanded that the killers of Hadi and those involved in the murder be identified and that a charge sheet be submitted by 7 January. Otherwise, the organisation warned of launching a tougher movement.
