Infinix is positioning its Note 60 Pro as a long-term smartphone option, promising smooth performance for as long as six years through extended software support, battery-management technology and an advanced cooling system.
The device carries a 72-month fluency certification and is designed to remain responsive under normal use, Infinix said in a press release issued in Dhaka on 27 July. It is also set to receive three years of Android operating-system updates and five years of security updates.
The company said longer replacement cycles and rising device costs were prompting consumers to place greater importance on reliability alongside camera quality, charging speed and other specifications.
Long-term smartphone performance depends on software support, battery health, thermal efficiency and hardware optimisation working together, according to the release.
The Note 60 Pro uses a 3D IceCore Vapor Chamber Cooling System to regulate heat during demanding activities such as gaming and multitasking. The system is intended to reduce thermal stress that could affect performance over time.
The handset also introduces what Infinix describes as the industry’s first Battery Self-Healing Technology, a software-controlled feature designed to extend battery life to at least six years.
According to the company, the technology can recover an additional 1 per cent of battery health after every 200 charging cycles.
Adaptive Bypass Charging works alongside the battery technology to minimise stress during charging and support healthier long-term battery performance.
Infinix said the focus on durability reflected changing expectations among students, professionals and everyday users seeking smartphones that remain dependable through years of work, study and entertainment.
The combination of extended software support, intelligent battery management and advanced cooling signals a broader shift towards measuring smartphone value over years rather than months, the company said.
