Infinix on Sunday highlighted a shift in smartphone use towards AI-driven information management, describing how its devices are evolving into tools that can capture, organise and retrieve personal data more effectively, according to a press release said from Dhaka.
The statement, issued in Dhaka on 6 July 2026, said the transformation reflects a broader change in how users interact with digital information, as smartphones increasingly act not only as communication devices but also as repositories for notes, documents, images and everyday data that often becomes difficult to retrieve when needed.
The company said the idea of forgetting has changed in the digital era, with users frequently losing track of information buried in screenshots, emails, messages and files. It said artificial intelligence is now being used to address this challenge by improving how information is stored and accessed on smartphones.
Infinix said its recently launched Infinix HOT 70 reflects this direction through its Folax AI ecosystem, which integrates multiple tools designed to simplify information management rather than offering isolated AI functions.
Among the features highlighted is FlashMemo, which allows users to capture on-screen content with a single tap without interrupting ongoing tasks. The feature converts items such as addresses, payment confirmations, articles or online class materials into structured, titled notes, reducing reliance on screenshots stored in galleries.
The company said the system is designed to keep information organised at the point of capture, helping users avoid fragmented storage across multiple apps and folders.
Another component of the ecosystem, MindHub, automatically organises saved content into a searchable collection. This allows users to retrieve stored information days or weeks later, improving accessibility as digital content accumulates over time.
Infinix also highlighted Study Assistant, a feature aimed at students that helps organise class schedules, scan questions and support everyday academic tasks. The company said the tool demonstrates how AI can be applied beyond productivity to education-focused use cases.
The press release said these tools reflect a broader industry shift in which smartphone makers are moving away from showcasing AI as a novelty feature and instead focusing on practical applications that support daily routines and learning needs.
It added that the increasing volume of digital information has made retrieval as important as creation, positioning AI-driven organisation as a core function of future smartphones.
Infinix said its approach with the HOT 70 series is intended to address this challenge by embedding intelligence into everyday interactions, allowing users to store and access information more intuitively.
The company said that instead of focusing solely on generating content, the next phase of smartphone innovation will prioritise systems that can remember and surface relevant information at the right time.
It added that as digital lifestyles become more complex, AI-enabled memory tools may play a central role in shaping how users manage information across personal, academic and professional contexts.
