The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed that India will tour Bangladesh later this year for a full white-ball series. The tour, originally scheduled in 2025, was postponed but is now expected to take place in the August–September window.

India are set to arrive in Bangladesh on 28 August to play three One Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals. The ODI matches will be held on 1, 3 and 6 September, followed by the T20I series on 9, 12 and 13 September. All matches will be hosted at Bangladesh’s home grounds.

The revised Indian tour has also led the BCB to request Cricket Ireland to reschedule their planned visit, as the boards work around each team’s packed international calendar. A BCB official told Cricbuzz:

“We requested Ireland to host their tour at a later date due to our new schedule. If not possible, we hope to find a new window in 2027.”

Bangladesh currently occupy ninth place in the ICC ODI rankings with 79 points. The team recently climbed one spot after a 2–1 home series win over Pakistan, overtaking the West Indies. With India visiting, the Tigers will look to continue their strong run in home conditions.
